E-LEARNING PROGRAMME

Using the Move2B E-Learning Programme

Our Move2B e-learning modules are designed for schools, clubs and Local Sports Partnerships who want to deepen their impact and support girls in a meaningful, evidence-informed way.

These modules complement physical activity sessions by helping girls understand the why behind movement — building knowledge, confidence and agency so that participation becomes something they feel part of, not something they feel pushed into.

Niamh and Órna guide the girls through topics such as menstruation and exercise, sports bras, expanding the definition of ‘sport’, resilience, friendships and confidence in relation to physical activity.

Case Studies

Case Study: Cavan Sports Partnership

Building Confidence Before Participation

Cavan Sports Partnership integrated the Move2B e-learning modules into a HerMoves multi-school initiative aimed at encouraging girls to re-engage with sport and physical activity. Their goal was to combine trying new activities, alongside understanding the barriers that shape girls’ willingness to participate.

Before delivering any in-person sessions, participating schools completed the e-learning modules. This gave girls a chance to explore topics such as confidence, body changes, peer influence, motivation and social pressures in a safe and reflective way.

Case Study: Wexford Sports Partnership

Empowering Girls Through E-Learning & Workbook

Wexford Sports Partnership integrated Move2B’s e-learning modules and a bespoke workbook into their Girls Get Active eight-week programme to empower teenage girls aged 12–15, many from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The modules prepared girls for workshops by exploring confidence, peer influence, female physiology and the benefits of physical activity. The accompanying workbook allowed participants to reflect, identify barriers, and develop practical strategies to stay active.

Delivered by trained Youth Leaders across three workshops, the blended approach encouraged engagement, reflection and peer support. By combining e-learning with interactive activities, the project equipped girls with the tools, knowledge and confidence to maintain active lifestyles beyond the programme, while giving youth leaders actionable insights to support participants effectively.
